Fr. Joy Koothur is a compassionate priest, humanitarian, and social worker known for his extraordinary commitment to palliative care and community welfare. As CEO and Co-Founder of Shanthibhavan — India's first no-bill palliative hospital — he has transformed thousands of lives across Kerala and beyond.

Through his visionary leadership, Shanthibhavan operates from Mountain of Mercy, Thrissur, offering a 99-bed hospital with ICU, 15 equipped home care vehicles, free dialysis, solar-powered facilities, and round-the-clock emergency care — all completely free of charge to patients.

His mission is rooted in the values of love, service, dignity, and hope — especially for the sick, elderly, and marginalized members of society. Every life is precious; every person deserves care.

Emergency & Ambulance

Free 24/7 ambulance service and mobile freezer/mortuary service — providing immediate, dignified response in every emergency, at no cost to the family.
